David Egli, known as "The Ox," has had a remarkable journey over the past three decades, starting in the boxing rings of Palm Springs and then serving in the Navy. In 2015, the scarcity of traditional boxing gyms ignited his passion for bodybuilding. He achieved 1st place in Bantamweight at the NPC Emerald Cup and later placed 4th at his first national show, the NPC USA.

Juggling life as a father of 13 and a 19-year Navy Senior Chief brought its challenges, yet his determination remained steadfast. Following a brief hiatus, David returned in 2019 and triumphed by winning the IFBB Pro Card in Classic Physique at the NPC Master Nationals in 2023. Currently gearing up for the Vancouver Pro in July 2025, the "Ox" skillfully manages his family responsibilities alongside his burgeoning bodybuilding career.
